2009 And Web Sites Need Updating

OK with a New Year – we all have new ideas. Make sure you implement them ASAP as the current economic climate makes all business a little harder to come by… and the web just gets more competitive.

For sure let your websites lay dormant and you’ll be sorry. People and search engines like FRESH CONTENT. If you site still says 2008 – you’re yesterday’s news !!

Some clients are already off the mark… Regans Restaurant in Cleethorpes have already added their 2009 Speciality Menus for download. Well Done !! Also Santa Barbera, a Conil Apartment Rental have updated their rental price list.

Plus “By Elise Designer Jewellery” have already had their Sale Items and Shopping Cart updated, thier new ‘Signature’ Pearl Necklace Range has been added.

Spanish Holiday Cottages and Rentals are already updating their property portfolio with new images, descriptions and prices.

And finally a mention to Northern Optics who have took the initiative to start updating their site themselves with latest offers on Telescopes and Binoculars.

Xmas 2007: Online sales are smashed again

CAPGemini report another year-on-year record for on-line purchases / e-commerce in the UK as reported by the BBC. Shopping cart sales are up by about 50%.

Other reports suggest that retail / high street sales are down over Christmas. We deduce  from that, that UK people want and are now more & more  comfortable buying products and services over the Internet.  Is your business selling online ? Read the rest of this entry »
