By Elise, the UK designer of exclusive handmade pearl necklaces and pearl jewellery, recently launched their 3rd version of BYELISE.COM.

This time they have gone database driven. With 300+ jewellery products (pearl necklaces, pendants, bracelets and earrings) the site needed an easier way to administer new and sold items, many of which are either unique pieces or limited editions. So when they were gone, they were gone! Having a database means the store owners can now control stock in real time! A simple click using the Admin Tools will remove the item from the on-line shop.

The new database site will save them time and money – and reduce the danger of over selling an item, thus disappointing a customer.

Digital Idiom have been web design partners with By Elise Pearl Jewellery for many years. Recently they have moved into e-commerce selling their products online.
