Drumming Up Web Success
Njega, an experienced Gambian Drummer now based in Lincolnshire (UK) just set-up a new business website. We helped build Gambia Afro Beat to promote his drum making services, drum tuition, drum workshops and anything else to do with African drums !!!
The main site features are a streaming video showing Njega in action in The Gambia, teaching drums to children and an adults drum workshop as a team-building exercise. There’s also footage of his band(s).
The site is built to be maintained by Njega himself who was lucky enough to get a cultural grant to help start-up his business. We wish Njega and Gambia Afro Beat all the success.
Client Comment: “You are doing a great job. The Video and Image Gallery look really professional and every one that sees it is giving good remarks. Keep up the good work.”
… so now you know where to go if you want to know about African drums, drum making and drum tuition!

Holiday Homes – Rent Online

These lucky villa and apartment owners in sunnier climes wanted to show-off their rental properties to potential renters who are searching in their millions for holiday accommodation. Thus cutting out the agents… and extra agent’s fees!!
By having their own sites the property owner can not only show-off the villa/apartment in a unique way, their homes, gardens and facilities BUT also write about the local area, restaurants, bars, excursions and their own take on the people, etc. The skies the limit! Read the rest of this entry »
Phew!! A Staggering Number of Websites
Every minute the Internet gets bigger. According to the October 2007 Web Server Survey there are OVER 143 MILLION websites on the Internet now. STAGGERING !!!
Last month (Oct’ 07) alone 7.6 million websites appeared. If my maths are correct that’s over 10,000 every hour. Sites like MySpace, Blogger, WordPress and Social Networks are allowing ANYONE to easily publish websites with a few clicks. This accounts for much of this massive increase.
OK, so this means that your website could be drowning in a very congested cyber-swamp!! How the hell do you compete? Read the rest of this entry »
